The ECOFECT LabEx - Eco-evolutionary dynamics of infectious diseases

ECOFECT is one of the 12 Laboratories of Excellence (LabEx) supported by the Université de Lyon Education and Research Cluster. 

ECOFECT gathers about 195 people including 150 researchers and teachers-researchers, from 10 scientific (University C. Bernard Lyon 1, ENS Lyon, CNRS, Inria, Insa), medical (Inserm, Institut Pasteur, Hospices Civils de Lyon, Fondation Mérieux), veterinary (VetAgro sup) and agronomic (Inra) institutions.
 
Ecofect main objective is to better understand infectious diseases as well as their role in organisms' evolution to better prevent and treat infections.

ECOFECT builds a new expertise, based on complementarity of different communities of excellence in Lyon: on the one hand virologists, bacteriologists, immunologists and clinicians, on the other hand ecologists and evolutionists.
 
 
 

ECOFECT Annual Meeting

ECOFECT's 2017 Annual meeting will offer the oportunity to come and hear the work of two leading scientists, Stéphanie Bedhomme & Hervé Blottière. This meeting will highlight the scientific developments of Ecofect's funded projects.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Research projects (Fil de l'eau, Thematic and Proof-of-concept projects) funded in 2016 are invited to present their research objectives during the two flash presentation sessions (7 min + 3 min questions).

Projects started before 2016 are invited to present their research achievements through poster presentations. We are in addition welcoming all posters related to the ECOFECT themes.

A prize will be awarded to the best poster.
